Parish Council response to statutory recommendations under Schedule 7 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014
The external auditor for Walton on the Wolds Parish Council, Moore East Midlands, issued recommendations on the 2nd of August 2024 to Walton on the Wolds Parish Council under Schedule 7 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 in relation to the 2023-24 Annual Governance and Accountability Return. Waste and recycling sites - summer hours
All Leicestershire County Council waste and Recycling Sites have now moved to summer opening hours.
Sites will be open from 9am to 7pm until 30th of September 2024. Last entry 6:50pm.
Please note that the Loughborough site is CLOSED on Thursdays and Fridays, and Mountsorrel is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Snow Wardens wanted!
Would you like to be a snow warden for the Walton area? Leicestershire County Council are hoping to recruit a team of volunteers to carry our this role. Full training will be given.

LCC grass cutting is supplemented in Walton by a fantastic team of local volunteers.
